Did you know: the Big Sur Jade Festival is an annual fundraising event, each year we provide summer grants to the students of Pacific Valley school & the children of the South Coast of Big Sur. Past recipients have also included the Big Sur Fire Brigade, Pacific Valley School, and other local organizations.
Monterey Bay Jade Festival 2026
The Monterey Bay Jade Festival is an ALL VOLUNTEER run project of Jade Events Unlimited, a 501c3 organization who commits net proceeds from each event to designated beneficiaries in our communities.
Our mission is to inspire the discovery and celebration of jade and jade culture. We envision a sustainable organization that is a leader in connecting diverse jade communities and empowering local and international artisans.
Monterey Bay Jade Festival
The Monterey Bay Jade Festival is a world class event including jade vendors representing Jade from California as well as internationally. The not for profit organization benefits the community through vendor participation as well as donations, and other events. One such event, The Annual Georg Schmerholz Jade Carving Exhibition, is an historic opportunity to view the avant-garde works of Jade Artisans. Dreaming Owl Barnyard is proud to participate annually in this festival, as well as well as in the carving exhibition.
Big Sur Jade Festival in Harmony
After a change of venue, and a couple of years with downtime, the Big Sur Jade Festival is moving to Harmony. I am honored to be part of this great tradition. This year, I will offer natural pendants from Big Sur, as well as a selection of beautiful Siberian Jade. I look forward to seeing you there!
